Beach Scenes

Rehoboth Avenue Jetty

Some more Hipstamatic “prints.” Some thoughts…

I’m on vacation, and I think this is a fun and interesting way to see things. I don’t plan on falling back on my iPhone for day-to-do work, but I think there is a time and place for some quirkiness. It’s artsy, fun, and a good exercise in composition. I actually love the square format, and had a great time thinking about how to frame each and everyone of these shots. Because of the slow “developing” time on the phone, using this app really forces you to be careful. In all of these situations, I restrained myself to one shot, and tried to get it right that first time. Kind of like film.

That Dolles Salt Water Taffy was the first place I ever tried the stuff, when I was about 10. I remember loving it. I remember loving a lot about that trip.
