Timelapse: Blizzard edition

I set up a timelapse using a Nikon D2Hs camera and the intervalometer feature on the PocketWizard Multimax, aimed out a second floor window of our house. I programmed the shutter to fire every two minutes — it began recording at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday and set it to end recording at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. This interval was timed to get a sunrise, full day, full night, a second sunrise, and hopefully some morning shadows. It worked. Playback speed is at 30 fps. The single battery I had in that camera was a trooper, too. After 800 frames over 26 hours, it still showed the full three bars of capacity.

I make an appearance cleaning my car off at about the three-second mark. My roommate Joel makes an appearance six seconds in.

The setup for the timelapse camera: A D2Hs mounted via Magic Arm to a chair. Gobo'd with black trash bags to reduce reflections.
